The Development Forum of the West Herzegovina Canton is a development body which represents a platform for the gathering of representatives of public sector from Canton, municipal and city level authorities, representatives of non-governmental sector, representatives of private sector, as well as representatives of other relevant institutions and organizations outside of the West Herzegovina Canton. The First Development Forum was organized in 2017 and the plan is to organize the Development Forum at least once a year.

The goal of the Development Forum is as follows:

• To gather in one place all relevant stakeholders from public, non-governmental and business sectors, in order to familiarize with current movements and trends in the Canton;
• To exchange current information on the projects implemented and planned to be implemented in the Canton for the purpose of a better coordination of projects and activities and a better preparation for project funding opportunities;
• To actualize issues of importance for the development of Canton, municipalities and city, and to initiate projects and ideas which would be included in development documents and plans;
• To present current funding opportunities, as well as other issues of importance for the development of Canton, municipalities and city.
